The Project
Orion have worked with AELTC (The All England Lawn Tennis Club) for over 7 years and carried out many projects for them at their main site in Wimbledon.
This large Design & Build project consisted of stripping out existing sporting facilities and reinstating them to a high standard of finish to match the main ALTEC site at Wimbledon. To achieve this, significant structural alterations were made with new MEP systems designed and installed to high standards. The client wanted exposed soffits, so that the services would be on show and therefore had to function with very limited height to work with. The standard of finish on this project was simply fantastic and the client was delighted with the end product.
This was a difficult project with many challenges both structurally and in achieving the clients’ time and quality expectations but with a competent Orion project management team the finished project was a real success and one that we are truly proud of.
The project was completed on time and ready for the 2023 Championship qualifier matches.
