The Project

Orion have worked with Isuzu Truck (UK) Limited for over 10 years. Having outgrown their existing premises, Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd asked Orion for advice on relocating. A brief was prepared and after due consideration the “Hatfield Site” was chosen.

Orion were then employed as consultants to prepare detailed designs and cost plans. Once these were agreed Orion prepared and submitted the Planning Application and achieved detailed planning consent within 3 months. Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd had everything they needed to transform their 1950’s northlight building into their new UK Head Office and Technical Training Centre.

This consisted of:

  • Detailed designs
  • Specifications
  • Detailed cost plan
  • Programme of works
  • Health & Safety Plan

Orion provided a full, un-biased appraisal of various methods of procurement and also encouraged the Client to seek independent advice. After due consideration, Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd decided they wanted to continue working with Orion and instructed us to commence works under a full Design & Build Contract and work on site started at the earliest opportunity.

  • Mechanical & Electrical Services
  • Fit out
  • Car Parks and Landscaping
